Explore Tabogon: Hayag Pool Resort with ₱50 Entrance Fee

Tabogon in Northern Cebu is famous for its simple yet captivating natural sceneries. No wonder it is one of the top choices for travelers looking for a peaceful getaway from the busy city life. It is the home the famous Guiwanon Cold Spring, a public beach with no entrance fee, and the “Little Batanes” of Cebu as described by many visitors.

Situated near the Guiwanon Cold Spring, there’s this new resort in Tabogon that is definitely worth checking out for its affordability, refreshing scenery and vibes, and cool swimming pool. Introducing, the Hayag Pool Resort. It has opened to the public just last week, with an entrance fee of only 50 pesos for adults and 25 pesos for kids.

As of this writing, the resort cannot accommodate overnight guests yet. Though they have a cottage for day use, for ₱300 per day (regular) and ₱500 per day (family).

  • Operating hours: 8AM to 6PM daily

How to get there?

Exact location: Brgy. Maslog, Tabogon Cebu — approx. 3 hours away from the city.

BY BUS: From the North Bus Terminal, ride a bus going to Tabogon – just read the signs for Tabogon via Borbon. Inform the driver to drop you off at Tabogon Public Market. Bus fare is ₱88 per head (one-way). From there, look for a habal-habal (motorbike) and ask to bring you to the resort of ROGELIO HAYAG, fare is around ₱15-20 per head. Hayag Pool Resort is located near the cold spring.

BY CAR: Just navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Guiwanon Cold Spring”. Or ask around where you can find the resort of ROGELIO HAYAG. Parking space is available.
