On Friday evening, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 11, 2022.
The whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Cebu Province — recorded 208 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 586 new recoveries, and 22 new deaths. Cebu’s total active cases dropped to 7,987 (from 8,376).
Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 53,025 (+71 new)
– Total recoveries: 46,760 (+227 new)
– Total deaths: 1,638 (+8 new)
– Active cases: 4,627
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 16,807 (+25 new)
– Total recoveries: 15,365 (+176 new)
– Total deaths: 491 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 951
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 15,184 (+28 new)
– Total recoveries: 14,161 (+52 new)
– Total deaths: 478 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 545
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 45,198 (+84 new)
– Total recoveries: 40,625 (+131 new)
– Total deaths: 2,706 (+6 new)
– Active cases: 1,864

- Total Recoveries in Cebu: 116,911 (+586 new)

A total of 1,722 laboratory results were released.
