On Sunday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of September 12, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 242 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 337 new recoveries, and 8 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 97,244, while the active cases increased to 9,407 (from 9,511).

– Total confirmed: 39,317 (+85 new)
– Total recoveries: 34,905 (+51 new)
– Total deaths: 1,225 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 3,187
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 12,753 (+25 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,127 (+62 new)
– Total deaths: 324 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,302
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 11,449 (+13 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,009 (+53 new)
– Total deaths: 344 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,096
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 33,725 (+119 new)
– Total recoveries: 28,024 (+171 new)
– Total deaths: 1,879 (+5 new)
– Active cases: 3,822
