On Saturday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 20, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 295 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 356 new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 43,252, while the active cases decreased to 6,160 (from 6,221).

Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 20,512 (+87 new)
– Total recoveries: 17,329 (+261 new)
– Total deaths: 778 (+2 new)
– Active cases: 2,405
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,239 (+36 new)
– Total recoveries: 4,000 (+28 new)
– Total deaths: 130 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,109
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,261 (+71 new)
– Total recoveries: 3,930 (+6 new)
– Total deaths: 197 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,134
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 12,240 (+101 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,209 (+61 new)
– Total deaths: 519 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,512
