On Friday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of March 19, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 364 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 405 new recoveries, and 7 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 42,957, while the active cases decreased to 6,221 (from 6,265).

– Total confirmed: 20,425 (+160 new)
– Total recoveries: 17,069 (+162 new)
– Total deaths: 776 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 2,580
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 5,203 (+70 new)
– Total recoveries: 3,973 (+51 new)
– Total deaths: 130 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,100
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 5,190 (+41 new)
– Total recoveries: 3,924 (+92 new)
– Total deaths: 197 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 1,069
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 12,139 (+93 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,148 (+100 new)
– Total deaths: 519 (+5 new)
– Active cases: 1,472
