On Tuesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 16, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 261 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 382 new recoveries, and 4 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 31,013, while the active cases dropped to 4,626 (from 4,751).
Cebu’s recovery rate is now at 80.41%.

– Total confirmed: 15,081 (+156 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,765 (+155 new)
– Total deaths: 717 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 2,599
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 3,426 (+23 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,762 (+66 new)
– Total deaths: 116 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 374
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 3,549 (+17 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,936 (+45 new)
– Total deaths: 177 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 610
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 8,957 (+65 new)
– Total recoveries: 7,476 (+116 new)
– Total deaths: 438 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,043
