On Wednesday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 10, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 272 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 194 new recoveries, and 6 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 29,131, while the active cases rose to 4,241 (from 4,182).
Cebu’s recovery rate is now at 80.50%.

Cebu City
– Total confirmed: 14,000 (+130 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,788 (+86 new)
– Total deaths: 711 (+4 new)
– Active cases: 2,501
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 3,231 (+28 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,710 (+16 new)
– Total deaths: 115 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 406
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 3,354 (+34 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,699 (+29 new)
– Total deaths: 176 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 479
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 8,546 (+80 new)
– Total recoveries: 7,254 (+63 new)
– Total deaths: 437 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 855
