On Thursday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of February 4, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 259 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 134 new recoveries, and 4 new deaths. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 27,436, while the active cases rose to 3,212 (from 3,092).
Cebu’s recovery rate is now at 83.10%.

– Total confirmed: 13,047 (+131 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,528 (+52 new)
– Total deaths: 702 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,817
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 3,093 (+33 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,652 (+14 new)
– Total deaths: 114 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 327
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 3,168 (+26 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,600 (+11 new)
– Total deaths: 175 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 393
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 8,128 (+69 new)
– Total recoveries: 7,018 (+57 new)
– Total deaths: 435 (+3 new)
– Active cases: 675
