On Saturday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of January 30, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 249 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 69 new recoveries, and 1 new death. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 26,262, while the active cases rose to 2,452 (from 2,273).
Cebu’s recovery rate is now at 85.28%.

– Total confirmed: 12,442 (+118 new)
– Total recoveries: 10,390 (+21 new)
– Total deaths: 701 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,351
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 2,923 (+53 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,628 (+16 new)
– Total deaths: 113 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 182
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 3,059 (+32 new)
– Total recoveries: 2,570 (+0 new)
– Total deaths: 174 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 315
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 7,838 (+56 new)
– Total recoveries: 6,808 (+32 new)
– Total deaths: 426 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 604
