Yes, FamilyMart officially returns to Cebu on October 28, 2020.
FamilyMart, a popular Japanese-owned convenience store global chain, will open three (3) branches in Cebu simultaneously this Wednesday, October 28. These branches include:
- Phoenix Banilad
- Phoenix V. Rama
- Banawa (Stand-alone)
FamilyMart will be offering their best-selling products, including onigiri, ramen, Japanese sandwiches, and the Coffee Creations line, and other unique and exciting offerings.
FamilyMart is also adopting a unique customer experience for its Cebu stores with a new retail format. Their stores are now meant for get-and-go as safety is priority.
In 2018, Davao-based businessman Dennis Uy acquired Philippine FamilyMart CVS Inc. (PFM) that owns and operates 67 FamilyMart convenience stores in the Philippines.
Uy also acquired another convenience store chain, Circle K network, through Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. to further expand the presence of FamilyMart in the country.
