The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu opens its doors to pilgrims and visitors from near and far for the 461st Fiesta Señor, themed “In Santo Niño We Are One.” Among the festival’s most awaited highlights is the Solemn Foot Procession, a moving tribute to the Santo Niño that transforms the streets of Cebu into a pathway of faith and tradition.

Where to Assemble

Participants join the procession according to their designated divisions:
• Division I – St. Joseph Carroza assembles along P. Gullas St. to Plaridel St.
• Division II – Our Lady of Consolation Carroza gathers at corner Plaridel St. and Magallanes St. to D. Jakosalem St.
• Division III – Santo Niño Carroza, open to the general public, starts from corner D. Jakosalem St. and Osmena Blvd. to Manalili St.

The 6-Kilometer Route

The procession winds through the heart of Cebu City along a 6-kilometer route:
Basilica → D. Jakosalem St. (left) → Magallanes St. (right) → A. Borromeo St. → Leon Kilat St. (right) → N. Bacalso Ave. (left) → V. Rama St. (right) → B. Rodriguez St. (right) → Osmena Blvd → Basilica.

A Day of Devotion and Culture

Walking in the footsteps of centuries of tradition, devotees carry their faith along the streets, offering prayers and songs of devotion. The event is both a spiritual journey and a cultural experience, with colorful carrozas, religious icons, and the vibrant energy of Cebu City lining the route.
The Solemn Foot Procession takes place on January 17, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM. Participants and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot in their designated division.
