BTS Confirms Return to the Philippines

The long wait is nearly over. BTS is finally returning to the Philippines for a two-night concert in March 2027, marking their first group appearance in the country in close to a decade. Filipino ARMYs have been buzzing since the announcement dropped, as Manila becomes one of the final stops of the group’s massive 2026–2027 world tour.

A Comeback After Military Service

This marks BTS’ first world tour since completing mandatory military service in South Korea. Their last group concert before enlistment took place in 2022. By mid-2025, all members had finished their service, clearing the way for a full comeback as a group.

A New Era of Touring

The upcoming tour spans 79 shows across 34 cities, making it one of BTS’ largest runs to date. It kicks off April 2026 in South Korea and Japan before expanding across North America, Europe, Latin America, and finally Southeast Asia and Australia through early 2027.

Manila Joins the Southeast Asia Stops

Manila is part of the highly anticipated Southeast Asian leg, which also includes Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok. BTS will perform in the Philippines on March 13 and 14, 2027, their first group shows in the country since the Wings Tour held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in May 2017.

The tour introduces a 360-degree in-the-round stage setup built to bring the group closer to fans and expand venue capacity. This approach boosts visibility from all angles and elevates the live experience with high-scale visuals and choreography.

New Music on the Way

Ahead of the tour, BTS is set to release their fifth studio album on March 20. The album features 14 tracks and marks their first full-length release as a complete group since enlistment, building momentum leading up to the tour launch.

Ticketing and Rollout

General ticket sales open on January 24, with ARMY Membership holders getting early access on January 22 and 23. More cities are still expected to be added, keeping global fans on alert for further announcements.

Major stops include multi-night shows in cities such as Tokyo, Las Vegas, London, Paris, Santiago, São Paulo, Singapore, Jakarta, Sydney, and Manila. The tour stretches from April 2026 to March 2027, making it a year-long celebration of the group’s return.
