Located in Sitio Pilinpinon, Brgy. Busogon, San Remigio, Banghitawan Falls remains one of Cebu’s most enchanting hidden paradises. The falls stand out from the many natural wonders of the province. Unlike typical waterfalls that flow in a single stream, Banghitawan dramatically splits into two, creating a breathtaking spectacle that leaves visitors in awe.
The Trail to Paradise

Reaching the falls is an adventure in itself. The journey involves a blend of forest trails, rocky paths, and river crossings that immerse travelers in San Remigio’s lush landscapes. The trek from Avante Bridge, the jump-off point, takes about 30 minutes, and while it may be challenging, every step offers glimpses of untouched nature.
Emerald Waters and Twin Falls

Once you arrive, the sight of emerald-green waters flowing gracefully into a natural pool feels almost otherworldly. The surrounding forest completes the picture, making it a serene escape for nature lovers. While the pool may look tempting, its depths can be deceiving, so caution is advised for non-swimmers. Still, the beauty of the twin falls alone makes the entire trek worth it.
A Place of Inspiration

For many who have discovered it, Banghitawan Falls is more than a natural attraction, it’s a place of inspiration and wonder. The unique formation, the refreshing atmosphere, and the raw beauty of the surroundings make it a favorite spot for adventurers, photographers, and those simply looking to disconnect from the noise of the city.
