“We want to redefine travel in Cebu, one innovative concept at a time,” shared Matt Poonin during one of our interviews. The idea sprouted from the mission to gather travel brands and companies in one place to offer their services and opportunities to Cebuano travelers and beyond. Now, heading into their 10th year, the ITF organization is gearing up for what will be one of their biggest celebrations, not only showcasing deals and giveaways but also commemorating their founding anniversary.

Instead of flipping through magazine pages, the International Travel Festival allows travelers to explore their options for the travel bucket list—like a life-sized travel catalogue to peruse. From airline reservations and hotel bookings to car rentals and grand travel tours, both domestic and international.

Founded by a group of visionaries, the International Travel Festival is set to once again unite brands and companies that offer significant travel deals for the public and Cebuanos. As they continue to move forward, the festival aims to enhance both outbound and inbound tourism, boosting Cebu’s travel industry and promoting a culture of exploration.

This year’s festival showcases numerous exhibitors, including top resorts such as Mactan Resort, Bluewater Resorts, and Crimson Resort & Spa. Additionally, hotel exhibitors like bai Hotel Cebu and Radisson Blu Cebu provide even more options for attendees.

Participating airlines include Philippine Airlines and Cathay Pacific, offering a variety of destinations and discounted rates for travel enthusiasts, alongside travel agencies and tour operators such as Ashley Express Tours and Horizon Express Travel, who provide expert advice and deals.

Government agencies and national tourism organizations, including PAGCOR and the Philippine Retirement Authority, offer accessible services and support for anyone in need of government-related processes.
