Each plot, marked with a timeless marble stone and covered with well-manicured grass, measures 2.5 meters in length by one meter in width, providing a total area of 2.5 square meters. These thoughtfully designed plots allow for the underground interment of two fresh remains or mortal bodies, as well as the accommodation of skeletal or ash remains in an urn. This layout ensures that loved ones can be laid to rest together in a peaceful, beautifully maintained environment.
Columbarium Niche
Known for their best-in-class burial units, Finisterre’s Columbarium Niches are meticulously crafted spaces with premium concrete to ensure durability and elegance. Each unit is complemented by flat markers of authentic marble stone, providing a timeless and dignified tribute.
Designed for single interment, each measures 80 cm by 80 cm at the opening and extends to a depth of 2.30 meters; these burial units combine quality construction with aesthetic appeal.

We Went to Finisterre & Here’s What We Think
In all honesty, we initially thought we were heading to a typical cemetery, expecting to see niches, underground burials, and the usual scent of candles and flowers at the entrance. But, amazingly, all we smelled were fresh air and well-cut grass!
The St. James Gate was grand, reminiscent of those you’d see in upscale subdivisions and private villages. Upon entering, we found ourselves stepping onto a charming brick pavement that leads straight to the Chapel and El Camino Pavilion where we were met and welcomed warmly by their staff.
The area is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with creative designs, including a delightful group of chicken statues that add a touch of whimsy to the place.
During our tour, we hopped onto a golf cart for easier access to the expansive grounds. We were taken around the area, from its lowest point to a vantage point that boasts one of the most breathtaking views of Cebu.
A Promising Future Ahead
Finisterre Gardenz is constantly enhancing its amenities to provide an even more enjoyable experience for its guests. HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact Location: Poblacion, Ward III, Minglanilla Cebu, Philippines
- By Commute: From IT Park Cebu, take the modern jeepney bound to Minglanilla Cebu and inform the conductor that you’ll be dropping off at Poblacion Minglanilla. Once you notice the “LR Silogan,” you can proceed to make your way to Finisterre by following their signature arrows pointing the directions. It is just a 100-meters from the entrance of the Poblacion, and it can take around 3 to 5 minutes.
- By Car: Navigate via Waze or Google Maps and pin “Finisterre Gardenz Cebu” as your destination. There is ample parking space in the area, so you don’t have to worry about it.
