Thank You, Beyonce: Here’s What Netizens Are Saying About the Issue

She knows, she knows, I know she knows…

The internet is going out of hand for the “Thank You, Beyonce” trend. But, how did everything start?

Well, it all began when conspiracy theories about Beyonce and Jay-Z resurfaced, specifically reports about the couple being involved with P Diddy, a rapper and record producer who’s facing charges for sexual misconduct allegations.

As each day passes, more and more videos and stories are being posted online to support the theory, and here are some of them:

Eliminating Artists Who Failed to Pay Tribute

Some believe that artists who haven’t properly acknowledged Beyoncé and Jay-Z have faced unfortunate consequences, including career sabotage or even untimely deaths. Stars like Michael Jackson, Tupac, Aaliyah, and Left Eye allegedly were ordered to be killed because of the race to fame. Additionally, MJ, Aaliyah, and Left Eye died on the 25th day of the month, which added to more speculations to their deaths being pre-planned.

Charice Pempengco’s Transition

Some netizens pointed out that Charice Pempengco’s abrupt pause in the industry was due to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s interference, including the death of Pempengco’s father. This then led to Charice transitioning to Jake Zyrus wherein his career declined even more.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift Incident

There’s a theory that the action of Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was because TS did not mention Beyonce during her speech. In another awards ceremony, TS did the interruption while she’s part of the audience during the speech of Harry Styles, seemingly hinting that she is giving back the “protection” that Kanye initially gave to her.

Justin Bieber’s Harassment

Allegations have surfaced claiming they harassed Justin Bieber at a party in the early 2010s. Witnesses described a tense atmosphere where Bieber was made to feel uncomfortable, fueling rumors of trouble between the young star at that time and the power couple. There were even reports suggesting that young Justin was molested during the same party when he was borrowing the Ferrari.

P Diddy’s Trial Date Has Been Set

The date will be on May 5, 2025, according to Judge Arun Subramanian during their ruling at the Manhattan Federal Court. It was shared that there were more than 50 victims of sexual assaults done by P Diddy or Sean Combs along with his associates or cohorts.

“The acts complained of occurred at hotels, private homes, and also at the infamous P.Diddy ‘Freak Off’ parties. The violations against this group of individuals are mind-boggling and can only be described as debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak.”

How Everything Has Been Exposed, Unknowing to the Public

If your TikTok feed has been filled with songs by Eminem and J Cole, then that’s exactly because those are related to the issue. Both songs include parts where they seemingly expose what was happening even before the birth of Gen-Z’s.

On J Cole’s song, he was hinting on the death of MJ, Aaliyah, and Left Eye, along with what fans speculated to be the name of the killer which was “She” and “Knows,” a play on the names “Shawn” for Jay-Z and “Knowles” for Beyonce.

While, on Eminem’s song “Fuel,” a part of the lyrics indicated his telling on P Diddy and mentioning the deaths of Biggie and Tupac with the words, “R.I.P., rest in peace, Biggie and Pac, both of y’all should be living.”

In addition, videos of Britney Spears, Adele, and Lizzo giving out their speeches with frightened and unsure faces on stage began circulating once again, as well as a clip of Ellen talking to P Diddy after what they do on an after-party.

The Trend of Thanking Beyonce

The phrase “Thank you, Beyonce” reached a viral status simply because some netizens are taking the topic as a way for them to be part of the trend. As stated, when a winning performer thanks Beyonce, that performer will be spared from being put down. So, trendsetters began doing it wherein they would be congratulated and they’d respond, not with a mere grateful remark but the statement, “Thank you, Beyonce” to avoid being killed.

But, as more talks come in from the involvement of Beyonce and Jay-Z in the heinous acts of P Diddy, the trend actually raises a question about the power dynamics in the music industry and the safety of the lives of celebrities behind closed curtains.

What do you think, Sugboanons? Do you believe in the allegations or are they just made-up stuff to piggyback on conspiracies? Share your thoughts in the comments below; and, oh, THANK YOU, BEYONCE!
