Kuala Lumpur, 18 December 2023 – The Pilipinas Sambo Team emerged triumphant, securing an impressive tally of five (5) gold medals at the Southeast Asia Sambo Championship 2023, held on 16-17 December 2023 at Vivamall, Kuala Lumpur.
Among the standout stars, Mark “Mugen” Striegl, WinZir’s Sports Ambassador, contributed significantly to the Philippines’ stellar medal haul. Striegl’s exemplary performance in Sport Sambo brought immense pride to the Philippines on the international stage.
