The Municipality of Minglanilla has approved a curfew ordinance and is set for full implementation. The measure focuses on minors and aims to keep young residents safe during late-night hours in public areas.
Who the Curfew Covers

The ordinance applies to individuals below 18 years old who are found in public places between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM. It covers those without a valid reason to be outside or those not accompanied by a responsible adult.

How It Will Be Enforced

Barangay Tanods and the Minglanilla Police are tasked to carry out the ordinance. Minors found violating the curfew will be turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for proper handling and guidance.

Focus on Child Safety

The curfew is designed as a protective step rather than a punishment. It centers on reducing risks faced by minors late at night and reinforces the role of families and the community in keeping children safe after dark.
