About Barangay Gaas
The entire area of Barangay Gaas covers 2,922.7 hectares. A significant portion of the Central Cebu Protected Landscape (CCPL) is situated within Barangay Gaas. It is located thirty-one (31) kilometers from the center of Cebu City via the Transcentral Highway and eighteen (18) kilometers from the center of Balamban. The boundaries of Barangay Gaas are as follows: Barangay Sunog and Cebu City to the east; Barangay Captain Claudio, Toledo City, and Barangay Arpili, Buanoy, and Duangan, Balamban, Cebu, to the west; Barangay Duangan and Cansomoroy to the north; and Barangay Tungkay, Toledo City, and Barangay General Climaco towards the south.
