A Natural Wonder in the North

How to Get There
Location: Between the barangays of Tapilon and Maya, Daanbantayan, Cebu
- By Car: From Cebu City, drive north via the Cebu North Road (National Highway) passing through Mandaue, Consolacion, Danao, and Bogo. Continue towards Daanbantayan town proper and follow signs leading to Tapilon Port or Maya Port. Bukana sits right in between these two barangays. Travel time usually takes 4–5 hours by private car, depending on traffic. Parking is limited, but there are nearby open spaces where locals may allow you to leave your vehicle.
- By Commute: For commuters, head to the North Bus Terminal in Cebu City and ride a bus bound for Maya Port. Inform the driver or conductor to drop you off at Tapilon or Maya, then take a habal-habal or tricycle to reach Bukana. Since the place is not yet heavily commercialized, it’s best to ask locals for directions, everyone in the area knows where Bukana is.
