PhilHealth’s enhanced Outpatient HIV/AIDS Treatment (OHAT) Package now includes anti-retroviral therapy for all individuals with confirmed HIV test results, regardless of clinical or immunologic status. Additional services necessary for effective disease management are also covered.
Accessible Treatment Hubs
The OHAT Package is available at 234 HIV treatment hubs nationwide, accredited by PhilHealth or designated by the Department of Health. These centers provide accessible and reliable care for patients across the country.
Significant Financial Support
In 2024, PhilHealth disbursed P1.6 billion to cover 176,819 HIV treatment benefit claims, demonstrating the government’s commitment to addressing the rising HIV cases and supporting public health initiatives.
