Oakridge Realty Development Corporation (ORDC) and First Gen Corporation reinforced their commitment to sustainability with the construction of a 638-kilowatt-peak (kWp) rooftop solar power facility at Oakridge Business Park in Cebu. This marks a bold milestone, making Oakridge the first mixed-use development in Cebu to be fully powered by 100% renewable energy (RE).
Oakridge Realty Development Corporation (ORDC) President Anne Liu and First Gen Chief Engagement Officer Carlo Vega formalized the agreement on February 27, 2025, strengthening their shared vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Anne Liu, ORDC President, emphasized Oakridge’s long-standing commitment to sustainability. “We have continuously integrated sustainable solutions into our mission to support the environment. The construction of our rooftop solar power facility is a testament to this commitment, reinforcing our transition to 100% renewable energy.” Liu also mentioned that the impact of Oakridge’s initiatives has not only led to an improved carbon footprint but has also significantly influenced the lifestyle and, more importantly, instilled a more conscious mindset in the communities they serve.
For First Gen, this project represents more than just another solar installation; it reflects their commitment to helping businesses transition to clean energy.
