Located on the southwestern side of Malapascua Island, Logon Beach is a crescent-shaped stretch of sand serenely framed by a wooded promontory. Its sheltered, aquamarine waters are deceptively shallow and greatly influenced by the tides, making it more suited to scenic strolls or wading than full-on swimming. Small traditional boats often moor here, giving the beach a charming, lived-in feel, but these moorings also mean it’s not always ideal for diving in from the shore.

Malapascua is world-renowned among divers, especially for thresher shark encounters, and Logon Beach is a favorite for relaxing after underwater adventures. While the beach itself may not be the prime diving spot, many nearby dive shops and resorts cater to both budget-conscious divers and snorkelers. If you’re looking for laid-back evenings, the calm of Logon provides a quiet respite compared to the busier Bounty Beach.
How To Get There?

- By Car: If you prefer a more comfortable trip, you can hire a private car or van from Cebu City straight to Maya Port. This drive typically takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on traffic. Private transfers are convenient, especially if you’re traveling with a group, and many operators can also arrange a boat ride from Maya to Malapascua.
- By Commute: On a budget? Take a Ceres bus (or a shared van) from Cebu’s North Bus Terminal heading to Maya Port, the trip usually takes 4 to 5 hours. Once you reach Maya, hop on a local banca (outrigger boat) for the roughly 30-minute crossing to Malapascua. Upon arrival, if your resort is near Logon Beach, you can either walk (Malapascua is only ~2.5 km long) or take a motorbike taxi (habal-habal).
