An all-new reimagining of the world’s greatest musical is finally coming to the Philippines
A revolution is stirring, and it’s taking the stage in Manila! The legendary Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is set to premiere in the Philippines from January 20 to February 15, 2026, at The Theatre at Solaire, and Filipino fans are in for a breathtaking ride.
This isn’t just a revival, it’s a full-scale reimagination of the 40-year-old global classic. From the visionary mind of Cameron Mackintosh, in collaboration with Nick Grace Management and GMG Productions, this all-new production promises stunning sets, immersive lighting, and a bold redesign that breathes new life into Victor Hugo’s timeless tale of love, loss, and revolution.
A Dream Cast and Crew
Expect nothing short of world-class. With over 110 performers and crew from all over the globe, including an international all-star cast and a powerhouse ensemble of Filipino and foreign musicians, this staging brings a full live orchestra to the stage, just the way musicals should be.
Behind the Curtains
The powerhouse team includes directors James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, with Matt Kinley on scenic design, and costumes by Andreane Neofitou, Christine Rowland, and Paul Wills. Paule Constable and Warren Letton take charge of lighting, while Mick Potter handles sound, and Finn Ross brings visual storytelling to life through projections.
The musical remains faithful to its roots with original music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, and based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The show also features orchestration work from Stephen Brooker, Christopher Jahnke, and more, with Adrian Kirk conducting.
