This August, Minglanilla, Cebu invites everyone to be part of its most beloved tradition, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Festival, happening from August 9 to 22, 2025. For two vibrant weeks, the town will come alive with colors, performances, music, and devotion as it celebrates not only its patron saint but the heart and soul of the community.

A Blend of Tradition and Entertainment

The festival will kick off with youth-centered events, including a motorcade, Sayaw sa Kabataan, and Linggo ng Kabataan, celebrating the energy and creativity of Minglanilla’s young generation. Cultural showcases such as Agri-Fairs, Tourism Expos, and Talent Nights will highlight the best of what the town has to offer in agriculture, tourism, and local talent.

Where Community Shines

Every night, the Minglanilla Sports Complex and Food Avenue will serve as central venues for exciting themed evenings. Expect performances during Battle of the Bands, the search for Mr. & Ms. High School, and the much-anticipated Minglanilla Idol singing competition. There will also be special nights dedicated to the Local Government Unit, DepEd, Sangguniang Kabataan, and religious sectors, showing the close ties between community institutions.

The festival wouldn’t be complete without the Queen of Minglanilla pageant, where beauty and advocacy meet, and the Music Festival, which brings together some of the town’s best homegrown acts. The annual Shootfest, supported by local leadership, will also be back, giving sports enthusiasts something to look forward to.
