Best Wallet announces a major upgrade, adding full Bitcoin support and multichain functionality to its rapidly growing crypto wallet. Users must update to Version 2.5.1 to access the new features, available on both Android and iOS.
With full Bitcoin blockchain support, Best Wallet users can now buy and hold Bitcoin directly. Upcoming updates will also add support for Solana, Base, and Tron.
Bitcoin searches are surging on Google as dip buyers seize sub-$90,000 prices following the ByBit hack and $LIBRA meme coin scandal. Adding to market uncertainty, looming US tariffs raise fears of a trade war that could impact the global economy. However, extreme volatility is nothing new for crypto.
However, Best Wallet is well-positioned as a top Bitcoin trading app for the inevitable crypto rebound. It offers a seamless way to buy Bitcoin using a bank card or crypto.
Best Wallet’s Major Upgrade: Full Bitcoin & Multi-Chain Support
The upgrade enhances Best Wallet with institutional-grade security, building on its reputation for ease of use and innovative features like the Upcoming Tokens discovery section.

Best Wallet has partnered with Fireblocks to enhance security through Multi-Party Computation (MPC), ensuring even stronger protection for private keys without extra effort from users.
Fireblocks, a leading industry player, has secured $7 trillion in verified transactions and helped create 250 million wallets. Its trusted partners include VanEck, WisdomTree, Revolut, eToro, Animoca Brands, and Flipkart.
The recent $1.5 billion ByBit exchange hack has put self-custody wallets like Best Wallet in the spotlight. As the saying goes, ‘Not your keys, not your crypto’—but with Best Wallet, users stay in full control. Private keys are protected by enterprise-level security, ensuring maximum safety and ownership.
How to Migrate to the Best Bitcoin Multi-Chain Crypto Wallet
Migrating to full Bitcoin and multichain functionality is simple. Users can complete the process within the Best Wallet app in just a few minutes—no transfers required.
Before starting, users are advised to create a manual backup for added security. Simply go to Settings > Manage Wallets > Select Wallet > Private Key, then copy the private key onto paper and store it safely. Making multiple copies ensures easy recovery from different secure locations.
For added security, a cloud backup is strongly recommended. Protect your wallet with an encrypted backup and a secret word.
Once secured, you’re ready to upgrade to full Bitcoin and multichain support. Your funds and wallets will remain safe, with all existing wallets (Main, Created, and Imported) automatically imported into your new account.
