The Sinulog sa Lalawigan, a longstanding feature of the festival, has been officially replaced by the newly introduced Brass Band Competition, set to bring a dynamic and musical twist to this year’s celebration.
The Sinulog Foundation Inc. announced the shift as part of their efforts to revamp the hospital and offer fresh experiences for attendees. Scheduled for January 11, 2025, the Brass Band Competition promises to spotlight exceptional musical talent and creativity, further enhancing the exciting cultural experience for Sinulog.
There will be no Sinulog sa Lalawigan in 2025, but Sinulog Inc. Executive Director Elmer “Jojo” Labella announced on December 26, that the participating contingents of the Sinulog sa Lalawigan will directly perform in the Sinulog Grand Parade on January 19, 2025 at the Cebu City Sports’ Club.
