…because August 30 will be the night that I will fall for you over again…
The Secondhand Serenade, the iconic band that defined our early 2000s emo scene, is coming back to the Philippines this August as part of their Asia Tour 2024. Tickets will be available starting June 29, so be sure to snag yours before they sell out!
The Emo Revival We’ve All Been Waiting For
We are literally holding our breath as we wait for the night when Secondhand Serenade takes the stage once more, filling the air with the heartfelt lyrics and haunting tunes that made them a staple in our playlists. Known for their emotionally wrenching songs, the band’s return is sure fire way to an evening of nostalgia as they sing to us their timeless tracks, such as:
Fall for You
The ultimate emo anthem that had us all singing along and feeling every word as if we were actually in a relationship full of challenges and at the edge of an upcoming breakup.
Your Call
A beautiful ballad that spoke to our hearts and made us believe in the power of love and longing as we wait for the call of our beau. It was the ultimate waiting song.
Vulnerable
A song that perfectly shows the fragility and intensity of young love. Also, it was the song that was featured in most Wattpad stories (remember when Wattpad used to be read on our keypad phones?), such as Voiceless by HaveYouSeenThisGirl.
These tracks, among many others, became the soundtrack of our youth as it dug deeply into the pangs of heartache and the bittersweet joy of love.
As Secondhand Serenade returns to the Philippines, fans can expect a performance that will transport them back to simpler times. While their tickets are to go on sale this June 29, they are expected to sell out fast.
