Initially, Carlos was set to receive P3 million from them, but this amount has been increased to P6 million. 20 Million Pesos from PAGCOR
PAGCOR Chair Alejandro Tengco said to the panel on August 6, “As provided by law, for the gold medalists, Pagcor is mandated to give…an athlete who wins a gold P10 million. So since he has two golds, Mr. Yulo will have P20 million. I have not announced this in public, so this is the first time.”
5 Million Pesos from ArenaPlus
Named as the “Astig Sports Bonus,” Carlos Yulo will be receiving the 5-Million Peso reward from ArenaPlus as part of their recognition for the achievement. The ArenaPlus said in a statement, “Kasama mo kami sa laban ngayon. Parte ka na ng kasaysayan. At para sa patuloy nating paglalakbay sa ating magandang pinagsamahan, sa iyo rin ang Astig Sports Bonus of P5 million.”
Another Gold Medal
Carlos already has two gold medals, and when he returns, he will also be honored with another medal known as the “Olympic Gold Medal of Valor” from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), a special accolade for his remarkable representation of the country. This award really holds true to his moniker as “The Golden Boy.”
House & Lot
Carlos Yulo’s achievements are also being celebrated with significant property rewards. The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) has pledged to award him a house and lot as part of their support for Olympic medalists. This is similar to the rewards given during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
6-Million Pesos Worth House & Lot

A 35-Million Peso Worth Condominium & 3 Million Pesos Cash
Megaworld Corporation has promised Carlos a fully furnished two-bedroom condominium located in McKinley Hill, Taguig City. The value of this condo was initially set at P24 million but has been increased to P35 million following his second gold medal win. In addition to the condo, Megaworld is also giving Carlos a cash bonus of P3 million to recognize his exceptional accomplishments.
1 Million Pesos from The SM Group
Carlos is also receiving valuable free products as part of his rewards. The SM Group, led by the Sy family, has pledged P1 million worth of products from their retail stores. This includes a wide range of items from their department stores and supermarkets, which Carlos can use within a year.
