Reader’s Digest UK is officially shutting down after 86 years of operation as one of the trusted magazine publications in the United Kingdom.
The Reader’s Digest UK Editor-in-Chief of six (6) years, Eva Mackevic, posted on LinkedIn an announcement last April 29, 2024 that the magazine has reached its last page. According to Mackevic, one of the reasons for the closure was due to the financial crisis that the company continued to encounter in the striving industry.

On their website, the company posted their farewell message to their readers:
Although Reader’s Digest UK is halting their publication for printed magazines, they are pushing through digitizing their previous editions for the general public to easily peruse online. So, it’s not the end of their UK franchise after all.
