The Grand Parade and Ritual Showdown for Sinulog 2024 is fast approaching, but how can we get to SRP? And to that, Modern PUJs say, “We got you.”
Atty. Kent Francesco Jongoy, Legal officer of Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO), said that Modern public utility jeepneys will be available on the day of the ritual showdown on January 21, 2024.
There will be 160 MPUJ units on Sunday. Below are the 5 routes the MPUJs will be operating on Sunday at SRP.
- Lapu-Lapu City – Cordova – SRP Consortium via CCLEX
- Parkmall – SRP Consortium via Viaduct
- Talamban – IT Park – SRP Bagsakan & Seaside via Vestil
- Bulacao – SRP Bagsakan & Seaside via Vestil
- Carcar – SRP Terminal via Coastal Road Talisay
At the moment, there are no updates regarding buses and shuttles going to SRP for the main event. Unlike last year when shuttles were deployed to ferry interested viewers of the grand showdown.
Officials also discourage people interested in going to the SRP grounds from bringing their own vehicles.
