Filipino creativity never ceases to amaze!
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 7, Fiesta Haraya Bai 2024 is a huge celebration of creativity and culture. There’s tons of exciting workshops and activities, all focused on the arts—think film, theater, music, animation, and so much more! If you didn’t make it today, don’t worry because the biggest events are happening this Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8, 2024.
So, let’s check out on the event’s programs for the weekend:
SATURDAY
Day 2 of Fiesta Haraya Bai Fair 2024 is all about the art of creation—whether it’s weaving stories for the stage or crafting plotlines for video games. One of the exciting highlights is a deep dive into the making of the new Cebuano musical, “Hopeless Romantics Inc.,” directed and written by Jude Gitamondoc. He’ll be sharing the magic behind the play’s music and how it all comes together, including the beautiful song “Breathe You,” originally sung by the talented, and now fashion icon, Heart Evangelista. It’s a chance to see the creative process firsthand and get a sneak peek into the making of the incredible musical which will be staged in February 2025!
Aside from that, there will also be the esteemed Dwende Creative Sprint Awarding and the most-awaited Cebu Music Expo which will take the night away!
SUNDAY
Day 3 promises an unforgettable closing program, packed with exciting opportunities! You’ll have the chance to be mentored by the talented Dwende Winners, plus enjoy grand performances from the Knapsack Dancers. The day will also feature a showcase of incredible talents from Musika Haraya, all leading up to the grand Cebu Music Expo finale.
