During Archuleta’s early years, he participated in a lot of singing competitions. At the age of ten, he competed in the children’s division of Utah Talent Competition where he was crowned as champion that led to a lot of tv singing appearances. At the age of 12, he won the second season of Star Search grabbing the Junior Vocal Champion title.

Despite not being able to win American Idol season 7, David Archuleta still continues to be relevant even today and now he just announced that he will be coming back to Manila for a special performance!
On the night of June 27, 2024, the American pop singer announced in his Instagram account that he will be coming back to Manila on September 14, 2024 for a special performance. In his post, he stated that he will be singing some of his popular and new songs in his performance. He further added that he might also sing some of his favorite OPM songs.
The singer further announced that he will be performing in the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon, City. The tickets for his special performance will be open for purchase on the 30th of June 2024 on ticketnet.com.ph.
