Riding a jeepney is a daily activity for many people in the Philippines. While it’s a cheap and easy way to travel, there are some things that can make the ride annoying.

Here are some common things people dislike when riding a jeepney.

Jeepneys often have too many people, making it hard to sit comfortably. Passengers are squished together, and sometimes people even have to stand or hang on the side. The driver or conductor might say there’s still room, even when the jeepney is already full, making it even more crowded.

INIT WAY HANGIN (HEAT & LACK OF VENTILATION)

It can get very hot inside the jeepney, and the air doesn’t move well. This makes it feel like a sauna and can be very uncomfortable.

Traffic jams can make the ride take a lot longer. Sitting in traffic is frustrating and makes the trip seem endless.

Sometimes there are unpleasant smells inside the jeepney, like body odor, food, or exhaust fumes, which can make the ride very unpleasant.

SABA (NOISY)

The loud music or noise from other passengers can be annoying. It’s hard to relax or think with all the noise.
