The May 2023 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Exam results have brought tremendous pride to Cebu, as three of its graduates emerged as topnotchers.
Rica Mae Albiso, Jenzel John Longno, and Kyra Shane Buhia – all of whom are from the University of San Carlos – showcased their exceptional knowledge, earning impressive rankings in the examination.
Leading the pack are Rica Mae Albiso and Jenzel John Longno, who both secured the sixth spot in the CPA Licensure Exam. Another outstanding achiever is Kyra Shane Buhia, who secured ninth place.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that a total of 2,239 out of 7,376 aspiring accountants successfully passed the CPA Licensure Exam, representing a pass rate of 30.36 percent.
The examination was conducted across various testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
