The holiday season just got sweeter!
Philippine Airlines (PAL) will soon launch flights from Cebu to Laoag and vice versa on December 15, 2023. Flights will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Moreover, the plane used will be PAL’s fleet of 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400s.
PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Stanley Ng said, “We welcome the holiday season with a historic air link between Cebu and Laoag City. This brand-new service will help us open up a new market for tourists and business travelers by connecting the Ilocos Region via nonstop flights to Cebu and beyond to other cities in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Furthermore, Ng added that passengers can expect “more convenient connections” that will boost the country’s tourism and economic development. “We expect to mount more flights in and out of our Mactan-Cebu hub in the coming months,” he continued.
