Say Annyeong to your K-drama dreams turned reality and travel to South Korea. But before you do, there are a few things you need to prepare first, like your Tourist Visa.
Below are the different requirements you need to prepare to acquire a Tourist Visa for Korea.
General Requirements
- Duly accomplished application form: download here.
- Passport
- The passport must still be valid for at least 6 months
- One (1) passport-size colored picture
- Photocopy of Passport Bio-page (frontpage)
- Original and photocopy of previous and current valid visas to OECD member countries
- Original Personal Bank Certificate
- Must include the following:
- Account type
- Account number
- Current balance
- Account opening date
- 6 months average daily balance
- The certificate must be addressed to: the Consulate of the Republic of Korea
- Address: 12th Floor Chinabank Corporate Center, Lot 2, Samar Loop Cor. Road 5, Business Park Mabolo, Cebu City
- Must include the following:
- Bank Statement
- An original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months
- It needs to be the same account as your Bank Certificate
- Traveling with Family: Original PSA Birth Certificate issued within 3 months
- Traveling with Spouse: Original PSA Marriage Certificate issued within 3 months
- For senior Citizens: Copy of Senior Citizen ID
Important Reminders
- When applying for Visa, old passports with previous travels within the last 5 years should be submitted with the latest passport.
- The Visa’s validity is only for 3 months from the date it is issued.
- Attach an affidavit of support and proof of relationship if you are financially supported by family members.
- If it so happens that you cannot submit a document, write a letter of explanation and submit it.
- Every PSA-issued document should be original and issued within 3 months.
Where to Submit the Documents
Once you have all the necessary requirements, you may now submit them to the Korean Consulate in Cebu. See the schedule below:
- Mondays to Fridays 9AM – 11AM ONLY.
- Closed on weekends and holidays.

Visa Fees:
- There is no fee for stays shorter than 59 days
- P1350 for 60-90-day stays.

I think this is not updated, for Cebu – no walk-in,should be via online appointment.
Hi.. I have checked the website of Korean Consulate in cebu and it says there na need na ng appointment if mag aapply ng visa dun..do u have any idea if ok lang walk in? Pre pandemic, walk in lang dati.. =(
