On Sunday night, the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH-7) released its official, consolidated data of the COVID-19 cases in the region as of October 10, 2021.
Today, the whole island of Cebu — Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and the Cebu Province — recorded 81 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 58 new recoveries, and 1 new death. This brings Cebu’s total confirmed cases to 102,601, while the active cases increased to 3,580 (from 3,558).

– Total confirmed: 40,707 (+22 new)
– Total recoveries: 38,328 (+24 new)
– Total deaths: 1,434 (+1 new)
– Active cases: 945
Lapu-Lapu City
– Total confirmed: 13,488 (+9 new)
– Total recoveries: 12,278 (+19 new)
– Total deaths: 406 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 799
Mandaue City
– Total confirmed: 12,026 (+20 new)
– Total recoveries: 11,327 (+11 new)
– Total deaths: 400 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 299
Cebu Province
– Total confirmed: 36,385 (+30 new)
– Total recoveries: 32,540 (+4 new)
– Total deaths: 2,308 (+0 new)
– Active cases: 1,537
