The Transcentral Highway is more than just a bland stretch of 33-kilometer road. Along this highway that spans from Plaza Housing in Lahug to Brgy. Prenza in Balamban town are interesting destinations that offer relaxing view of the mountains and the cold atmosphere.
Just few meters past the famed “21 Kilometers Coffee”, Red Cliff View Park promises its guests a serene and nature-filled camping experience.
The view from this park is just breathtaking. The seemingly endless terrain of verdant mountains dressed in deep green forest abundance is a testament that Cebu never falls short of beautiful spots even in the most unlikely places.
While here, be sure to put on your sweaters as the place can become very cold given that it sits on high elevation. Nothing feels more comforting than sipping a cup of hot coffee (or tea) in an almost frosty environment.

Overnight camping here is also a must-try. You can spend the night by either getting a peaceful sleep tucked in your warm jackets or by chatting with your friends until the sun comes up. Either way, you will surely be amused at how the place makes a good escape from the bustles of the city life.
Red Cliff View Park doesn’t offer anything grand other than the priceless experience of being surrounded with nature’s generosity. They have a small store though that sells noodles, burgers, milk teas and other cold drinks. But of course, if you want a feast, you can always bring your own food at no additional cost. There’s even a space here where you can grill.
