With its booming economy and rapid developments, it’s really about time for Cebu to take the traffic (more) seriously. Whether you’re heading northern Cebu in Mactan or Consolacion, or going to south in Minglanilla or Carcar, or even just in the city proper, traffic is just getting worse every day.
Taking advantage of the available coastal routes in Cebu, MCE Shipping Lines has officially announced the MyBoat Naga City to Pier 1 Route that will serve daily commuters from the south starting on October 28, 2019.
From the usual land travel time of 1-1.5 hours (without traffic) or 2-3 hours (during peak hours and weekends), it’s now cut down to just 30-45 minutes only via MyBoat.

Cebu is beautiful! I love it here! Traffic does get bad at times but
no worse than any other large city in the states. Stop and go!! Be
nice if they had a rail system in from one end of the island to the other
and across to the east side! Either way it is still my favorite place to be!
