It’s a big step gearing towards Cebu’s efficient commuting system by modernizing the public transportation.
Aside from the historical Jeepneys (PUJ) that commuters usually use, Bus-Jeepney or BEEP mass transport was launched early this year and can now be spotted in the roads of Cebu City.
More about BEEP
There are at least 40 models plying around the city. These fully air-conditioned and equipped with TV, GPS and CCTV cameras ensuring safe, efficient and comfortable public commute.
Blue vs White BEEPs
The only yet insignificant difference between the two (aside from the color, of course) is the seating capacity.
- Blue BEEP: can carry 33 passengers with 26 seats.
- White BEEP: can carry 31 persons, with 22 seats.
Fare & Schedule
Minimum fare starts at ₱8 ₱9.50 for the first five kilometers, plus an additional ₱1.50 for every succeeding kilometer.
BEEP will arrive/depart every 10-15 minutes (approximately) at the designated stops. The vehicles will ply 24/7 — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Are there any updates to this, Min.Fares/Min.KM, Schedules, Bus Stop and routes? I tried riding the blue BEEP Route #2 R.Duterte to SKYKES yesterday. My ride started at B. Rodriguez street to Gorordo Ave. Inmaculada School, the fare asked from me is P13 but the Fare Regulation paper posted on the side was minimum fare P11 for first 4 kilometers. My ride was just 2.8km-3km, why was i asked for P13, the conductor said the minFare was for the first 2km, then i reiterated the paper posted inside the bus, but it seems that he doesn’t understand or refuse to understand. I don’t really know what they are up to, but my point is why cant we just follow simple fare regulations. They might call me cheap since its just a few peso, but that is not the issue, will still pay even if its P20 as long as it’s what is being regulated. #startfromourself #notocorruption

Hi, there are now other new beep routes. Hope you make guides for those too! Thank you!
Hopefully there will be Ayala to Mandaue route same as those jeep 20B or 20A.😞
i dont see the point of 31 person and 33 person vehicles.?? it makes no sense.. Economy of scale says the more identical ones you make the lower the cost and only one trpe of spare parts needed.
