Tabogon is the town situated in between Borbon and Bogo City. It’s a long travel but once you get to the place, it will all be worth it. It’s one of the most remote and relatively less developed in Cebu yet blessed with natural sceneries — like a “paradise on earth” where the sea and heaven meet.
From the interesting rock formations to the vast ocean where sea turtles appear, to the flowers and trees that surround the resort, the Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort is indeed a refreshing getaway place.
Though there’s no swimming pool in the resort, the vitamin sea is all you need. You can also arrange a bangka tour going to Bogo City’s Capitancillo Islet.

How to get there?
Exact location: Villanueva, Camoboan, Tabogon, Bogo City, Cebu — approx. 3 hours away from the city.
From the North Bus Terminal, ride a bus going to Tabogon – just read the signs for Tabogon via Borbon — usually on the left side as you enter the terminal. Fare is ₱70 per person (one-way), while travel time is approx. 3 hours. Inform the driver to drop you off at Tabogon Proper.
From there, ride a motorbike or habal-habal and tell the driver you’re going to Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort. It is popular among the locals. Fare is ₱20 per head.
If you’re bringing your own vehicle, just navigate via Waze or Google Maps and search for “Sea Turtle Lagoon” in Tabogon. There’s an ample parking space available.
