Wyeth Nutrition opens the nationwide search for the Kid Innovators that innate curiosity and creativity of every child. The Wyeth nutrition Kid Innovators aims to spark curiosity in children and nurture their love for science and passion for innovation, empowering them to make a difference in their own way.
The search is open for students aged 9-14, in grades 4-8, alone or are part of a 2-5 member team. They must have developed an innovative science-related project within three years preceding the submission of entry and must have a written brief, video and endorsement letter by the Science Department Head of the school.
To join, students must introduce and demonstrate the project with a 1-3 minute video presentation. They must also prepare a written brief detailing responses to the following:
1. Who are the participants and adviser?
2. What is the innovation called?
3. What is its purpose?
4. Who can benefit from the innovation and how?
5. What inspired you to create the innovation?
6. How was it developed?
The top three winning entries will receive a cash prize of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000) and a trophy plus a Science and Technology showcase worth One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000).
