A familiar summer scene is shaping up once again across parts of Cebu, where families line up early for one of the season’s most anticipated outreach efforts. This year, free circumcision drives are set to open doors to young boys, offering safe and guided procedures backed by trained medical teams. Parents looking for accessible healthcare options will find these events timely and practical. Stay with us as we walk you through schedules, locations, and what to expect from these upcoming “Operation Tuli” missions.

April 25: Parish-Based Outreach

The first wave of services began on April 25, 2026, at the Parish Social Hall of the Alliance of the Two Hearts. The activity runs from 8:00 in the morning until noon, giving a half-day window for participants to secure a slot. Organized in partnership with ORNAP, Inc. Cebu Chapter and the Cebu Doctors Surgical Team, the setup leans on both volunteer spirit and clinical expertise. Young boys will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis, so early arrival matters.

May 22: Larger Turnout Expected in Pardo

A second schedule follows on May 22, 2026, this time at the Pardo Gym, where a longer service window from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM is expected to draw a bigger crowd. Unlike the parish setup, this leg limits participants to 100 slots only, making pre-registration necessary. Interested families are advised to visit their Barangay Health Center office to secure a slot ahead of time. The extended hours allow more flexibility, but the capped number keeps the process organized and manageable.

What to Prepare Before the Day

Participants are encouraged to come well-rested and properly fed before the procedure, as this helps avoid discomfort during and after the process. Basic hygiene is expected, along with loose and comfortable clothing for easier movement after the procedure. Parents or guardians should accompany minors at all times to assist with instructions from medical staff. Bringing water and light snacks can also help while waiting in line, especially for early arrivals.

Aftercare Matters as Much as the Procedure

Recovery does not end at the venue, and proper aftercare plays a key role in healing. Cleaning the area regularly, avoiding strenuous movement, and following the doctor’s advice will help prevent infection. Most organizers provide basic guidance before sending patients home, making it easier for families to manage recovery. With proper care, healing typically takes a few days, allowing kids to return to normal routines without complications.

Beyond the medical aspect, these events highlight a deeper goal rooted in service and accessibility. Free tuli programs remain a steady support system for families who may not have easy access to healthcare services. With each year, partnerships between local groups and medical professionals continue to grow stronger. For many, it is more than just a procedure, it becomes a shared community effort built on care and trust.
