Step 2: Visit the PCSO Cebu Branch Office
Walk-in applications are accepted from Monday to Thursday at the PCSO Cebu Branch Office, located on the Ground Floor of the PCSO Building, Sergio Osmeña Jr. Blvd, North Reclamation Area. Early arrival is recommended due to high patient volume.

Step 3: Same-Day Processing
When all documents are complete and verified, PCSO can issue a Guarantee Letter (GL) on the same day. This letter acts as the office’s promise to cover part of the patient’s medical expenses. The amount depends on the hospital bill, type of treatment, and available funding.
Step 4: Present Your Guarantee Letter
The GL must be presented to the hospital or accredited healthcare facility. Expenses covered include hospital confinement, specialty medicines, chemotherapy, dialysis beyond PhilHealth coverage, laboratory procedures, rehabilitation therapy, and even bone implants.
PCSO Cebu partners with over 100 hospitals, including both public and selected private facilities, ensuring access across the city and nearby areas.
Who Can Apply
MAP is open to all patients in need, especially indigent individuals. Political endorsements or personal connections are not required. Applications are evaluated based on documents and medical necessity.
