Yoyi’s Pastries & Desserts celebrates 6 sweet years in Cebu

Started out as a quaint family-owned pastry shop in Ormoc City, Yoyi’s Pastries & Desserts is renowned for its delectable yet affordable delicacies. Over the years they evolved into a full-blown bakery and opened a branch in Cebu City (their very first outside of Ormoc).

At Yoyi’s, they aim to make celebrations extra special at a fraction of the cost! Truly living up to their adage “All the Good Things You Deserve”, they always believed that celebrations shouldn’t break the bank, thus, they offer pastries and desserts that are fit for the festivities, made with love from fresh and quality ingredients and are reasonably priced.

The continued patronage of the Cebuano people to Yoyi’s from the past few years has greatly raised the bakery up to the pedestal, and now, they’d like to invite everyone in a humble celebration of their 6th year anniversary on October 15, 2020.

From October 14 to October 18, the celebration will commence by giving back to the community. For the whole week they are giving away one (1) free 3 ply-Fibertex, non-woven active carbon washable surgical mask for every purchase of one (1) whole cake.

On October 15, for one whole day, one (1) free slice of cake will be given away to every GrabFood driver for every purchase done via Grab app (terms & conditions apply).

Six glorious years have proved to be successful. Even though these past few months were super challenging, the bakery thrives to continue serving the Cebuanos amidst the adversities brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

They strictly adhered to safety measures and protocols and practiced regular sanitation and disinfection in their store.

Yoyi’s also strengthened their own delivery service by adding GrabFood (for Cebu City orders) and Sugbo Pabili Delivery Services to stay relevant and meet the needs of the community in these trying times as most people prefer to stay at home.

“All the Good Things You Deserve” doesn’t only point out how excellent their products are, but also highlights the high-quality service they provide to their customers.

WHAT’S AHEAD?

Yoyi’s Cebu recently launched their “Specialty Cakes by Yoyi’s” series starting September up to December this year as part of their 6th Anniversary celebration.

One (1) new special cake flavor will be added to menu every month! The freshly unveiled September cake is the Dulce de Leche y Yema Cake–chiffon with a balance of traditional yema goodness and luscious dulce de leche topped with generously grated Queso de Bola cheese.

The recently launched October specialty cake is an all-time favorite. Inspired from the traditional Italian dessert, it hits the sweet teeth that are coffee lovers: the Classic Tiramisu cake–moist and fluffy layers of lady fingers soaked with espresso, then covered with dreamy cream and mascarpone and dusted with cocoa.

Specialty cakes for November and December are yet to be unveiled so be sure to keep an eye out for it in their social media!

Furthermore, an expansion plan is currently in the works. They will be expanding operations and business in Mandaue City, targeted to open for Mandauehanons very soon.

WHAT ELSE?

Aside from the specialty cakes, Yoyi’s wide variety of sweets have always been a game-changer on its own. Their best-sellers include cassava bars, choco crinkles, the Heavenly Mango Cake, the Double-Baked Blueberry Cheesecake and Mango Cheesecake. The Ube Halaya Cake is also a customer-favorite and definitely a must-try!
